I’m Thijmen Stams. I working as a Systems Engineer @Gemeente Peel en Maas.
My interest are Virtualization, Storage and Networking.

My knowledge of virtualization is:
– VMware vSphere
– Microsoft Hyper-v
– Citrix Xenserver
– Application virtualization
This is for server and desktop virtualization. I have also interest and knowledge of VDI with graphical acceleration.

My knowledge of storage is:
– HP MSA
– NetApp
– EMC (Unity & PowerStore)

As backup solutions my knowledge is mainly Veeam

For networking my knowledge is:
– Routing en Swichting (HP & Cisco)
– Firewall (Cisco ASA, Sonicwall, Sophos & Fortinet)
Also big fan of the products of Cisco Meraki and Catalyst series.

We also improve this blog with Microsoft Services (Azure & Office365)
