In this blog I will explain how I add an on-premise environment to VMware Horizon Cloud. In this case I will not use the Cloud environment. We will use the On-premise Connection broker and other Horizon Services. The main reason why we add them to the Horizon Cloud, is that we then use the subscription license in the Connection Broker. In the subscription license you only get the license key for vCenter, ESXi en VSAN.
To complete the connection for VMware Horizon Cloud we need to download the Horizon Cloud Connecter.
Deploy the ova template to a vCenter environment and login to the VMware Horizon Cloud Connecter webpage. The credentatials are the same as you use for “my VMware”. This account must be superadmin in the subscription.
