In this blog I will explain how quick you can upgrade a exsting Horizon Cloud Connector (1.x) to a new one based on 2.x.
In the Horizon Cloud Connector 2.x is a automatic upgrade methode but this is not possible from a old one.
Just download the new Horizon Cloud Connector as a OVA template from the VMWare website and deploy them to you vCenter.
The new Horizon Cloud connector will start, go to the website and login with your VMWare account.
Enter the info over the Horizon Connection server.
When you did enter the information click on Connect.
You will see the message “We detected an existing Cloud Connecter” Click on Upgrade.
Enter the old Horizon Cloud Connector ip-adress. The configuration will move to the new connector. After the upgrade is done you can shutdown the old one.
